Themed exhibitions
Exhibitions arranged by subject: spacecraft and rockets, scientists and designers, missions and dates, and space in fiction.
The collection is arranged into exhibitions by subject rather than by country or year. Four themes come first: spacecraft and rockets; the scientists and designers who built them; memorable missions and dates; and the way space has been pictured in fiction.
Each exhibition explains what is on each coin and why it was issued, so that a visitor who knows nothing about coins can follow the story of space exploration through them.
We are preparing the first exhibitions now and looking for a space for them in the Houston area. They will be announced on this site.
Bring a lesson to your school, host a lecture or follow the first exhibition. Write to us and we will reply.
